Clement A. King, 80, of 800 S. Conklin Ave., died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1993, at McKennan Hospital, of pancreatic cancer. Mr. King was born March 26, 1912, in Morton, Minn. He moved as an infant, with his parents, to Conde. He received his education in Conde. He attended St. John's University and the University of Minnesota. He married Jean Mitchell in 1939. Before retiring, he served as an executive with Allis Chalmers Farm Machinery Co. in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. After his retirement, he worked at Montgomery Wards and Flynn Outdoor Advertising. Survivors include his wife, Jean; three sons: Thomas of Salina, Kan., Kevin of Sioux Falls, and David of Lubbock, Texas; four daughters: Kathleen Usery of Broomfield, Colo., Virginia Otterness of Eden Prairie, Minn., Norma Riedmann of Carroll, Iowa, and Mary Nelson of Omaha, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; and one brother, Morris of Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral Mass will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Lambert's Catholic Church, with burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 tonight at the church. Scripture vigil will be said at 7:30 tonight at the church. Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Argus-Leader |
