Mathew is with his wife in the 1905 Minnesota census and in the 1910 census in Seattle, King, Wasington, living with his wife's brother-in-law, Orrin T. Fish. It says his wife had two children of which one is alive. Thereafter Mathew appears with his son Curtis but never his wife again, though it shows him married until the 1940 census when he is listed as widowed.
