Egan William E., age 97, of Arden Hills, on July 22. Beloved father of Mrs. Ernest (Mary) Clausen of Arden Hills, Steve Begenisich of DuQuet, MN. Also 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Sister-in-law, Margaret Egan of Alexandria. Funeral from the Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 N. Hamline Ave, 1 block S of Hwy 36, 9:30 am Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Odilia's, Shoreview, 10 am Tuesday. Visitation 5:30-9 pm Monday (today). Parish vigil 7 pm. Interment Padua Cemetery, Sauk Centre. Originally published August 1998, Padua Cemetery, by Ginny Walz Borgerding William Edmund Egan was born on May 31, 1891, in Bangor Township, Pope County, to Thomas and Eliza (RooneY) Egan. He was the second oldest of ten children. William (Bill) lived to be 97 years old and thus was able to pass along family history information and stories. He would sit on a step and talk to his niece and to those who were willing to listen. Bill died July 22, 1988, in Arden Hills, MN. Bill is buried near his sister Inez and his parents. |
