The former Etta Rooney was born March 17, 1879, near Green Bay. She lived lived in the Brooklyn area for several years. She was married to Neil Smith in 1904. He died in 1927. Later she was married to John Flood who died in 1945. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs John Elmer, Rt 1, Albany, and Mrs Jesse Lloyd rural Belleville, nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a brother John Rooney, Stillwater, Minn, and a sister Mrs Catherine Anderson, Janesville.
