Nancy was born in Philadelphia, PA to Walter and Vera (Wiest) Nace. She married Donald Jochum on September 10, 1955 in Edina, MN. Nancy was a strong supporter of the blood mobile and leader dogs for the blind. She created and made custom window treatments, and enjoyed quilting, knitting, playing cribbage and cards. Nancy loved spending time with her family and grandsons. She was a member of Cold Spring Home Pride Lions and St. Boniface Parish.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Sandra; parents, Walter and Vera Nace; sister, Jane Nelson; in-laws, Mary Ann and Jerry Leen, Franklin Jochum, Bernie Liestman, John Forsman, Gordon Eells, George White and Karl Klang. Survivors include her children, Susan (Bill) Mentzel; grandsons, Ben and Andrew Mentzel; siblings, Don (Terri) Nace; in-laws, Jeanette Liestman, Irene White, Marjorie Forsman, Theresa Eells, Patricia Klang, Virginia (David) Johannes and Victor (Lyn) Jochum.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN .
Memorials preferred. Arrangements are with the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, MN. |
