David 'Dave' George Schade, 84, entered into eternal peace on Friday, August 21, 2020, at his home in Fullerton CA with loved ones around him.

Dave was born August 12, 1936, the youngest of three boys to loving parents George and Luvina Schade.

He graduated from Fullerton High School in 1955 and from Whittier College in 1959 with a degree in Geology. He met the love of his life through his best friend and married Patricia Mae Joyce on May 16, 1959. They stayed married for over 61 years and had eight beautiful children.

Upon graduating college, Dave worked on an oilrig for several years off the coast of Santa Barbara before he came home and joined his two older brothers to run Reliable Sheet Metal Works in Fullerton. After more than 40 years working at the family business and raising eight children with his lifelong love, he retired. In his golden years, he and Patricia did anything but retire. They lived a very active life engaging with friends and even starting new adventures, like building a vacation homes in Baja and Texas. In so many ways, he instilled the love of life in everyone he met.

He leaves his many happy memories to be cherished by his; wife, Patricia M Schade; adoring children, George, Linda, John, Barbara, Edward, Albert, Susan and Pamela; and his older brother Arthur Schade.

A private service will be held Friday September 4th at 11:00am with a celebration of his life that evening at his home in Fullerton.
