Independent Record 13 May 1948 Wanda McKinney, Five Dies Wednesday in Minneapolis Wanda McKinney, five-year-old daughter of Mrs. L.H. McKinney of 1801 Butte, and the late Mr. McKinney, died Wednesday in Minneapolis, where she had been undergoing medical treatment. She was born in Helena Dec. 9, 1942, and had made her home here until going east for treatment. In addition to her mother, who was with her at the time of her death, she is survived by two brothers, Leonard of Whitman college, Walla Walla, and Thomas of Helena; grandmother, Mrs. T.C. Gummow of this city, and several aunts, uncles and cousins here. The body will be forwarded to the Opp-Conrad-Retz funeral home. Arrangements are pending.
