Shared note	Marlene Juanita Rooney was born on September 23rd, 1935 in Mission, B.C. and passed away peacefully on December 31st, 2014 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 79 years. Marlene will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughter; Dennette (Lawrence) Snyder and her great-grandson; Luke of Invermere, B.C., her sister; Dolly (Everett) Schultz along with extended family members and friends. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband; Bruce, her daughter; Patricia, her grandson; Robert and by her parents; Thomas and Ruth Hardie. Cremation preceded a Celebration of Marlene's Life which will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Marlene to the North Okanagan Hospice Society 3506 ??e 27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S4.
