IRENE MARIE DUROSE
2007 at the age of 91 years. Irene was born in Crosby, ND, on February 11, 1916, to Katherine Agnes Tracy and George McPherson.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Fred Durose, and two sons, Lynn Durose of Olalla, WA and Bob Durose of Los Gatos, CA. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Brieann Durose, Kellen Durose, and Patrick Durose. Irene moved to Vancouver in 1950 to be near her brothers, Lee and Walter McPherson, leaving sisters, Lucille Jursco and Blanch Whitaker, in California. She is survived by Blanch Whitaker in Sierra Madre, CA.

Irene was a gracious, loving wife, mother and homemaker for her children and husband. She was able to effortlessly instill the morals, ethics, and values so valuable to her children. Irene worked in various roles in our countries industry in her early years supporting herself and making friends from North Dakota to Minneapolis, California and finally Vancouver. The friends she made across the country became lifetime friends. She was appreciated for her honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic.

Services will be held Thurs., March 8, 2007, 3pm, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

We will miss you, Irene, and wish you the peace so deservedly yours.
