Clement W. Lammersen, 88 St. Cloud July 31, 1917 - April 2, 2006 Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM on Friday, April 7, 2006 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Clement William Lammersen, age 88, of St. Cloud. Clem died on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at the Country Manor Healthcare Center in Sartell surrounded by his family. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be 7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Clem was born July 31, 1917 in St. Cloud, MN to Bernard and Anna (Danneker) Lammersen. He married Irene Mary Rooney on September 11, 1946 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. He worked as a machinist at Dezurik's in Sartell for over 20 years. When Clem wasnt busy raising a family, he enjoyed ice fishing, woodworking and repairing small engines at Clem's Lawn Mower Repair. He was also a member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church. Clem is survived by his wife of 59 years Irene, children: Ann Marie (Dennis) Schwickerath of Carlos, MN, Mohs of Sauk Rapids, Edward Lammersen of St. Cloud, Donna (Ronald) Freihammer of Sartell, James (Debra) Lammersen of South Haven, Janet (Michael) Lammersen-Sheets of St. Cloud, Renee (Thomas III) Lammersen Smith of Woodbury, Joan Lammersen of St. Cloud, and Ruth Iheme of St. Cloud, 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents, brother Alfred Lammersen, sisters Helen Petersen, Mary Abel and Gertrude Coombs, his half brother Arthur Heinen and infant great grandson Noah Mohs. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren: Brian Henning, Steven Mohs, Sara Lammersen, Jennifer Freihammer, Christopher Lammersen and Nicholas Smith. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Poor Clare Monastery. |
