Patrick Thomas Jendro died Sunday, April 15, 2012, of pancreatic cancer. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held Sunday, April 22, from 5 p.m. û 8 p.m. with a Mass of Celebration following Monday, April 23, at 11 a.m. Both will be held at St. Walburga Catholic Church in Rogers. Patrick was born Nov. 20, 1942. After serving in the U.S. Navy as a GMG3, Pat graduated from SCSU, then worked for Brock White for 31 years, retiring in 2003. A man of few words, he was a devout and extremely hard-working man whose artistry with wood was amazing. The beautiful furniture, clocks and bowls designed and created in Pat's workshop grace many homes. Patrick is survived by his wife, Marcia (nÚe Huntington); children, Jonica (Scot) Backes, Jessica (Todd) Filipek and Peter (Holly) Jendro; grandchildren, Amanda, Jesse, Jenna, Jordan, Andrew, Kelsey, Jacob, James, Jack and Justin; siblings, Roland, Kay, Jean, Tim, Terry, Dan, Connie and their wonderful spouses and families, as well as the large, loving Huntington family and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Marjorie Jendro; and infant grandson, John Leo. |
