Age 81, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1930 to his parents John and Myrtle (Smith) Elmer. Keith attended country school in the Attica area. Keith served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. On October 13, 1956 he was united in marriage to Rosie Horan. Keith worked at Federal Industries in Belleville for many years and retired in 1997. Over the years he had previously farmed and worked for Pet Milk in Belleville. Keith's life revolved around his family, whether at home or on the farm that he loved for forty three years in Primrose Valley. He also enjoyed vacationing in Northern Wisconsin, camping on the Mississippi River, and biking on the trails. Keith also had a great love for animals, and he took in many stray's both cats and dogs. He also had a love of people and never had an ill will or a bad word for anyone, and he welcomed everyone into his life and home, which he loved. Keith always knew what to say and provided his family and friends with the blessing of his unconditional love and support. Keith always put others needs before his, and he was the anchor that held us all together.

Keith is survived by the love of his life and wife of fifty six years Rosie. He is further survived by his mother Myrtle Elmer and brother Russel Elmer both of Albany, WI and special friends Palmer and Debbie Gehin.
