Everista "Evy" Hall Mitchell, 102 Cold Spring Formerly of St. Cloud June 28, 1910 - June 29, 2012 Mass of Christian Burial will be 5PM Monday, July 2, 2012 at St. Mary's Cathedral Crypt for Everista "Evy" Hall Mitchell who died Friday at the Assumption Home in Cold Spring. The Rev. Julius Beckerman, OSB and Rev. Al Stangl will concelebrate. Private family burial will take place on Tuesday at Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud. Evy was born June 28, 1910 in St. Cloud to Mathew & Anna (Volz) Hall. She married James D. Mitchell on April 29, 1939 at St. Mary's Cathedral, St. Cloud. She lived almost her entire life in St. Cloud, moving to Cold Spring in 2003. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. Evy enjoyed nature, flowers, watching birds & playing bridge. Family meant the world to her. Survivors include her sons, Patrick (Jane) of Cold Spring; Stephen (Diane) of Eagan; grandchildren, Joe Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, Jennifer Nelson, Mary Treakle and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, her daughters Anne Mitchell Tollefson and Mary Mitchell, her siblings Alfred Hall, Herbert Hall, Erwin Hall, Marie Wilson, Marcellus Hall, Clothilda Ahmann, Louise Wenner, Lawrence Hall, and Father Edmund Hall, OSB. |
