Lillian did not marry or have children. She worked as a bookkeeper for commercial employers until her untimely death from a stroke ("CVA" ) in 1974. From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Sunday, March 17, 1974, p. 34A: Rosary for Miss Lillian Marie Shaw will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in Harveson and Cole Funeral Chapel with mass at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenwood. Miss Shaw of 3140 Frazier died in a hospital Friday. A Fort Worth native, Miss Shaw was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory Academy and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a professional business women's sorority. She was an office clerk for Cox's Ridglea department store for 10 years. She was an avid sports fan and a member of the Wings Booster Club. Survivors include two sisters, Miss Mildred C.
