Joe was a bachelor. Originally published August 1998, Padua Cemetery, by Ginny Walz Borgerding Joseph Tracy was born in 1844, the son of Michael and Ann (Rooney) Tracey. He was the fifth child of twelve children. He was single and lived his life in the Padua area. According to a story about Joseph, he was a very large man, and he died suddenly, according to church records. Joseph's father Michael, grandmother Catharine Rooney, aunts and uncles Ellen Rooney, Thomas Rooney, John and Mary Rooney, Patrick and Catharine Killeen, and many cousins are buried in Padua. Note: Joseph spelled his last name Tracy and his father spelled it Tracey. |
